Kursansvarigs egen helhetsbild av kursen 

“Literary Studies and the Why, What, and How of Reading” is a well-developed course module that students enjoy. New for this year was a continuous assessment grade, which required active participation in seminars and a portfolio of creative writing and pedagogical reflection. This change improved the seminar climate and created a positive learning environment.

Only three out of thirty-four active students responded to this evaluation, which means that the results are not representative of the group. Those students who did respond rated the course highly in most regards.

Students responded variously in answer to the question about the new continuous assessment grade. Two students wrote that they enjoyed this aspect of the course, while one found the number of small assignments stressful.    

Kommentar kring examinationsresultat 

Nearly all students passed the continuous assessment examination on the first attempt. Many students received a pass with distinction. A few were asked to complement their work. These are excellent results and a big improvement over previous years.
